This piece of machinery is awesome. You become aware of new ways to use it everyday. The pictures are awesome and the video in 720p is also of high quality. I would say that it is a great buy for this price.

This camera has great features for beginners. But having no Aperture Priority or Shutter Priority stops the beginner from learning from a simple point-and-shoot to a DSLR camera.

The battery life is abysmal. The manual says it can only handle about 200 images. I usually take a lot more than that in a day so I have to recharge the battery, but it takes 2-3 hours to charge the battery. That’s too long for me.

The camera does not allow for deletion of all the images at once. I have to select each picture to delete them, waste of time unless you are simply just going to reformat the memory stick. That ought to wipe all the images.

The good thing about this camera is its size. I can carry it around in my pocket and the thieves wouldn’t notice it easily.

The photos look good on the LCD and on the computer as should any good camera.

All in all, it’s a good camera for the price. I just wish it has a better battery.

I’ve had this camera for less than two years and it eventually broke down. The screen started having fuzzy white lines and a completely black screen and when I tried to take pictures or videos, nothing would show up except what’s on the screen prior. I would not recommend anyone to buy this kind of sony cybershot. It sucks and it’s not worth the price.

One star for the portability and another for the HD video. Still images are of a poor quality whatever you do. Too much noise and grainy picture. Focus problem. Under the sun, all mages are super bright and washed out. Sadly, I have to return it, with a broken heart.
